Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Busy emergency department looking for Certified or Licensed Medical Assistants to assist with vital signs, medication administration, splinting, EKGs, etc. BLS required. Must meet current requirements for Medical Assistants for the State of Arizona: Completion of an approved MA program-Approved medical assistant training program accredited by one of the following: a. The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs; or b. The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools OR completion of an unapproved training program and successfully passes the medical assistant examination administered by a certifying organization accreditied by either the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute OR completion of a US Armed Forces Medical Service Training Program.

• SHIFT: 12 hour: 7a-7p, 11a-11p
• Housing: Information can be found under the ‘Facility Group Document∩┐╜ section.
• Orientation: on Mondays only – If your traveler misses the compliance deadline, they will pushed to the following Monday
